Poem 17

Write a poem that employs a rhyme scheme of any kind.

Butterflies swirl round and round
tiny feet never touching down
on delicate, bright flower petals
so like my heart that never settles

Flowers tremble, shake with nerves
wondering what purpose is served
by the loud buzzing of bee wings
and the way the wind loudly sings

Sun warms from cooling morning’s air
when all green felt lost to despair
Spring is once again here
and all frost does disappear
